3 Lip products I regret buying

Hi guys! Today's post is going to be a post focusing on 3 lip products that I wish I hadn't bought. I hope you enjoy this post and if you agree with me or disagree with me them make sure you comment below saying why!

The Miss Sporty lipstick in the shade 037 I like is my most hated product that I regret buying. I just think that the colour looks completely different on your lips than it does in the container. For me the product is too light and shimmery and it looks like white with a hint of pink. despite the smell/taste of this lipstick being lovely, I was really dissapointed when I first tried it on and I am now going to make sure I swatch Miss Sporty lipsticks properly in the shop!

The second product that I regret buying is a lipstick called innocent 1 by Beauty uk. When I looked at this lipstick in the shop (select) I thought it looked like a really nice light peachy-pinky colour but when I put it on it looked again way too light and totally different to the colour you can see on the packaging! as you can see in the picture the colour on the container and the colour on the lipstick are really different! I hate it when makeup brands do this because if the lipstick is sealed, the colour you can't see the actual lipstick meaning that you rely on the packaging which in this case was not the correct colour match. Also I find the smell of this lipstick really put me off because it smells of lavender which is a smell I am not particularly keen on so I think this is a big dissapointment.

The least hated product that I regret buying is Collection 2000's cream puff matt lip gloss in the shade powder puff 2. The reason that it's my least hated product is because I actually do sometimes wear this and when I do it matches the rest of my makeup so it doesn't look too bad. I picked this up because one of my friends has it in a pink colour and she said it was really good so as I was walking through Superdrug it caught my eye and I bought it. I was looking for a nude lip gloss that wasn't too glossy for some time and I thought this would be perfect. However it is quite faint and the natural colour of my lips still sometimes shows through, making it not a very nude lip gloss at all. I do like this however it is a little disappointing when it shows up more of a browny-pink colour instead of a nude. However it does smell of chocolate which makes me want to eat it haha.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post!

Ocean Blue Eyeshadow Tutorial

Hi guys! So today I was playing about with some unused eye shadows I had and thought why not do a blog post? So here I am showing you my ocean blue eyeshadow tutorial :)

The products I used were:
- MUA undress me too pallett (My favourite!)
- natural collection eyeshadow in the shade sky
- two destination beauty eyeshadow duos
- Collection 2000 Dazzel me! in the shade hevans

The first thing I done was took the colour "shy" from the MUA pallett. This is basically a white-neutral eyeshadow so anything will do. Then you need to put it all over your eyelid all the way up to the brow as a base colour.

Next, take the medium-light blue colour I am using the natural collection eyeshadow. All you need to do it put in in your crease, emphasizing on the outer corner where you need to bring it out slightly.

Then you need to take a deeper navy colour. I am using one from my first destination beauty eyeshadow. Then you need to place it in the inner corner, covering about 1/3 of the lid.

Next, you need to take a medium/teal blue and a light blue that is lighter than the one you used in the crease. Here I am using the second destination beauty eyeshadow. Then just put the medium/teal colour in the middle section of your eyelid and the lighter blue on the outside corner of your eyelid.

Then you need to take your glitter or shimmer! This part is always the most fun! What I done here was I took a decent amount of the shimmer on my brush and placed it on my eyelid quite close to the lash line and a little bit on my bottom lashline. This adds a really nice effect and really ties together the whole look.

This is what the finished look looks like! If you liked it, comment below and tell me what you thought! :)

Review - Scaredoo Hairbrush

Hey guys! A while a go I was sent a hairbrush from a new company called scaredoo. I was really excited to recieve this so I hope you like reading this review! Also, I have put some links at the end of the post to their webpage etc, enjoy :)

So this is what the brush looks like, I got the pink one because I thought it looked really cute but they also had a wide selection of other colours too. To be honest I was really excited when I received this and I loved the packaging! However when I began to use it I noticed that it didn't comb all the way through my hair, only the top layer. I have got used to this though and I can now use it easily but I still don't like the bristles very much.

I really like the concept of this hairbrush because it has two sides to it, one side is the normal hairbrush as you can see in this picture and the other side is a tangle brush as you can see in the picture below. I thought that this was a really good idea however I think the product is a bit flimsy. I found that the bristles on the tangle side bend really easily and doesn't really untangle my hair as the brush claims. However I think that with some tweaks, it could become a very good hair brush.

The Scaredoo hairbrush claims to be better than the tangle teezer and I think this is an inaccurate accusation. I think that the design of the brush and the idea of the two brushes that you can flip is better but the overall brush is quite poor compared to the tangle teezer. I do like this product though, and even though it isn't the best product in the world, it is quite good for taking with you in long car journeys and when you go traveling. I would give this product a 3/5.

Top Drugstore Foundations and BB Creams

Hey guys! I thought it would be a good idea to show you the top drugstore foundations and BB creams that I use as I don't really purchase high end products. I hope this comes in useful when you are looking for one your self :)

The first foundation I would like to show you is the Rimmel London wake me up foundation in the shade true ivory. Out of the 4 products I am going to write about, this is my favorite and most recent purchase. I love this foundation. The normal retail price is around  £7.99 I think but I actually managed to pick it up for £5.00 in a sale at Super Drug along with some other items. One thing I particularly like about this foundation is that it makes your skin look so fresh and awake. I really like this aspect because it is great in the morning when you are feeling very tired and I am definitely saving my money to buy the concealer. Another thing I love about this foundation is that it has a great coverage, I would say that it has a medium coverage but if you put a fair amount of it on your skin, it is easy to build up. I could go on talking about how it has SPF 15 and anti-fatigue but I will probably bore you so my rating for this foundation is 5/5.

This is the Garnier miracle skin perfector daily all in one BB cream in the shade light. I have actually ran out of this as you may be able to tell from the bottle in the picture, I am quite sad I have ran out because this is one of the best BB creams I have ever had! It doesn't have the best coverage in the world however it is good for a BB cream. When I was wearing this as a foundation, I thought it looked really good with the loose powder by natural collection. This product is quite heavy but it last for a very long time and I have had this since my birthday (December) last year. I found that it doesn't stay on all day and does tend to come off towards the middle of the day however I really liked this BB cream and my rating for this is 4/5.

This is the Collection 2000 Lasting perfection ultimate wear foundation in the shade honey which is slightly too dark for my skin however when I blend it in it does look quite nice. This product claims to have 16 hour wear which is true in a way. I don't believe that it stays on for 16 hours however I think it does last for a very long time and this would usually be what I put on my skin if I was going out or for a special occasion etc.The coverage is quite heavy which I really like meaning that I don't have to apply much to my skin for it to look really good. It definitely covers up any spots and blemishes and looks really good on the skin. I do like this foundation but it isn't my favourite and therefore I am going to rate it 3/5.

This is the L'oréal Paris Nude magique BB cream in the shade light. This BB cream has quite an interesting concept as when you first apply it to your skin it is white with small pigments in it. However as you start rubbing and blending it into your skin, you will notice that it begins to change colour to your skin tone. I recon that it comes out slightly darker on me than I expected, especially on my forehead but it gives quite a good coverage if you put quite a lot on. It looks fairly nice on the skin and also has SPF 12 meaning that my skin doesn't burn in the how either. Also this BB cream claims to have 24 hour hydration which is fairly true as it makes my skin feel really nice, smooth and moisturised and this lasts for most of the day. I can pick out a couple of flaws in this BB cream and is most definitely not my favourite, there for I am also rating it 3/5.
